Ergonomic gifts for home working mums
Struggling to buy a gift for a home working mom you know?
It's difficult to know what to get for the WAHM that has everything. So if you are looking for an original gift that is cool but also practical and will improve her productivity and well-being while she works from home, why not check out one of these ergonomic gifts?
I bet there is something in this list of ergonomic gift ideas that she'll love.

Before I start, I just wanted to make it clear than I am not an expert in ergonomics. If the person you're thinking of getting one of these for has a specific complaint, it may be necessary to check with a doctor first.
I have used some of these, or similar products, for years cos of RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury) and a bad back and they have helped. So I know I'd appreciate it if any of these ergonomic gifts turned up by the Christmas tree this year.
Anyway, here they go.

Why get an ergonomic gift for people that work from home?
Working from home means that you might be using chairs and tools that aren't meant for work. So your posture usually suffers, and then pains and niggles start. And you don't do anything about it, you just get on with it cos that's normal, isn't it?
That's why ergonomic gifts make great and thoughtful presents that can make working from home a lot more comfortable and help you deal with these pains and niggles.
FEZIBO Stand Up Desk Converter
This would be my first choice of ergonomic gifts for WAHMs.
Sitting all day isn't great for your posture or your circulation. And it can also result in a shortened PSOAS muscle, which is a pain. Literally.
These standing desks converters can be adjusted so you can use them sitting down or standing up.
They can also help you be more productive because you're more alert when you alternate between standing and sitting.
But don't forget to take plenty of breaks!
AFS-TEX System 4000 Lite Compact Ergonomic Anti-Fatigue Floor Comfort Mat for Standing Desk
This is a great accessory for the standing desk.
Working on a standing desk can still cause fatigue and bad posture if all you do is stand in one place. And standing is also bad for your circulation and your feet.
The raised ergonomic surround of this mat means you get to move your ankles and feet more and helps you stay alert and fight fatigue as well as increasing blood flow.
Smugdesk Ergonomic Office Chair
You don't think they'd fancy standing up? Or maybe it's not a viable option for them?
Then having a chair that is both comfy and will take care of their back is priceless if they work at a desk all day.
And this chair is great because good ergonomic chairs can cost more than $1000 and this one is waaaay cheaper.
DRAGONN Ergonomic Kneeling Chair
Feagar Memory Foam Chair Pad
PROMIC Memory Foam Lumbar Support Back Cushion
Kinesis Advantage2 Ergonomic Keyboard (KB600)
Sorry, but I had to give you another ergonomic keyboard choice, though you can find a few more here.
Logitech MX Vertical Wireless Mouse
Cos one can't have an ergonomic keyboard without an ergonomic mouse, obviously.
It's great for the smaller desk or if the person you're buying this for works on a laptop desk.
Because using this mouse means they don't need to move their hand so much.
The only thing I'd say is that somebody with little hands might find it doesn't quite work for them, so I am giving you another option next.
Logitech MX Master 2S Wireless Mouse
This ergonomic mouse is great for people that prefer to use a horizontal mouse.
But the best thing about it is its multi-computer control.
Both the MX Vertical and this mouse work on up to 3 computers you can use them to transfer files easily from one computer to another.
Or if you want a semi-vertical mouse there are also some.
Gimars Upgrade Enlarge Gel Memory Foam Set Keyboard Wrist Pillow Rest Pad and Mouse Wrist
This is a cheaper gift idea that will still help reduce wrist strain.
Memory foam means these wrists supports bounce slowly and are comfortable to use.
Or you can also get an ergonomic mousepad. Gimars own mousepads have great reviews as well.
DUCO Blue Light Blocking Glasses
These glasses cut 90% High-Energy Blue Light to reduce Digital Eye Strain.
For anybody that spends longs periods of time in front of a screen and suffer from dry eyes or headaches.
Or there are these ones for people that wear prescription glasses and don't mind looking goofy.
Ergonomic pens and pen grips
Which of these cool ergonomic gift ideas will you choose?
My favourite ergonomic gifts for the home office are the standing desk and the coolest looking ergonomic keyboard I have ever seen, but I do love split keyboards.
Since they all have productivity and health benefits as well as looking cool (not so sure about the glasses...) they make great gifts that any home worker will appreciate.
And if these don't convince you, here are some more practical gifts for lady bosses and bloggers.
